On 24-27 February, Rally Sweden will be held in Umeå, but preparations for the competitions will already begin on Monday 21 February. This means that many people and vehicles will be in motion around Umeå, especially in the city center and around the Nolia area and Umestan. We therefore want to give a warning that there is most likely a risk of large queues in connection with and in our parking facilities during this period.
Parking at Skeppsbron, the Nolia area, Umestan and Dragonskolan’s garage will be affected by the competitions and other events that take place around Umeå.
In the Nolia area, Rally Sweden will have its service center, here the rally teams have their base where they work with their vehicles. The paid car parks in the Nolia area will be completely closed from 17 February to 3 March. If you have a monthly permit, you have received special information about where you can park instead.
The fee parking in Dragonskolan’s garage is closed 23-28 February. We refer to signposted street parking at: Larmgatan, Ryttargatan, Kungsgatan, Smedsgatan, Hantverkargatan, Prästgatan, Utgårdsvägen, Östra Prinsgatan and Hedlundavägen. If you have a monthly permit, you will still be able to park in the garage, but must show your parking permit to security staff.
Paid parking around Umestan will be closed February 22-27. We refer to the signposted street parking at Hagaområdet.
At Skeppsbron down by the quay, there will be several different activities during the week. Including inauguration and award ceremony. The fee parking lots on Skeppsbron will be closed from 21-28 February.
